I am a board certified and New York State licensed Yale, Columbia and Harvard trained psychiatrist with a private practice on Manhattan's Upper West Side. I specialize in psychotherapy and, when needed, combining that with medications. I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship and career issues.
I received my undergraduate degree in history from Yale University, my medical degree from Columbia University and my psychiatric training from Harvard affiliated McLean Hospital. I have also received post graduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
I have a strong interest in public and international health and received a masters in public health from Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health. I have been honored to receive the Mel Kayce Award for excellence in psychotherapy from McLean Hospital and the May Rudin Fellowship in Human Rights and Medicine from Columbia University.
